A vice president in O’Neill and Associates federal affairs practice, Michael Flood provides domestic and international clients with government relations services to help them attain their objectives. Specializing in energy and defense matters, Mr. Flood’s expertise includes federal energy tax credits and renewable programs as well as defense contracting, national security and intelligence.

With over 16 years of Washington experience, Mr. Flood also brings experience with transportation, financial services, tax, international trade, identity protection, communications, insurance and R&D issues with a special emphasis on the Appropriations, Ways and Means, and Finance Committees. His extensive and proven relationships with Democratic and Republican Members of Congress, including congressional leadership, inform his strategies for clients.

Prior to joining O’Neill and Associates, Mr. Flood was senior vice president and manager of the Washington, D.C. office of a lobbying and communications consulting firm.  Mr. Flood also served in senior management positions with CSC, a Fortune 100 global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company, supporting all aspects of their work with the U.S. military and intelligence community.

Mr. Flood is a co-founder and executive vice president for policy and external affairs for the Washington D.C. chapter of the Ireland Chamber of Commerce – USA. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, he is a resident of Capitol Hill.
