Ms. Lynne A. Mooney is a senior vice president of O’Neill and Associates, where she specializes in government relations and information technology marketing. In this capacity, Ms. Mooney represents corporate clients in the telecommunications and information technology industries before federal, state and local governments. Ms. Mooney brings to this role more than 35 years of public and private sector technology and management experience.

Immediately prior to joining O’Neill and Associates, Ms. Mooney served as Oracle Corporation’s Northeast, state and local, sales manager where she surpassed sales goals for four consecutive years. Ms. Mooney’s previous experience also includes working for Unisys Corporation in its public sector management consulting group and Wang Laboratories as senior telecommunications manager.

Ms. Mooney has a wealth of public sector experience having served as the Assistant Commissioner, Management Information Systems, for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Transitional Assistance. In that capacity, Ms. Mooney implemented a fully automated technical infrastructure supporting a Family Assistance Management Information System (FAMIS). In addition to her state experience, Ms. Mooney has served in various capacities within the City of Boston as Manager of the satellite city hall office in the West Roxbury/Roslindale section of Boston and then as Assistant Commissioner of Data Management, Assessing Department.

Ms. Mooney earned her master’s in business administration from Boston University School of Management and bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Stonehill College, where she was awarded a four year merit scholarship and was honored as the 1978 “Outstanding Woman Alumna.”
