Tomorrow's Health Care Today: IT Solutions for Care and Management
Can technology help hospitals improve both their quality of care and financial bottom lines? How have area health care providers applied e-health solutions? Have IT successes boosted marketing efforts?
O'Neill and Associates convened leaders in health care and information technology to discuss these questions at a breakfast discussion on June 2, 2004. Joining us to elaborate on the confluence of public health, business, and medical informatics were: Dr. John Halamka, CIO for CareGroup Health System and Harvard Medical School; Louis Gutierrez, CIO for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and Mitchell Adams, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. State Senator Richard T. Moore, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Health Care, moderated the event.
