O'NEILL AND ASSOCIATES PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROFESSIONALS RECEIVE TOP HONORS
Boston (June 10, 2005) O'Neill and Associates won more honors for public affairs than any other firm at the Publicity Club of New England Bellringer Awards on Thursday, June 9, 2005. The Bellringer Awards were created to recognize excellence in the public relations field.
"We are delighted to be recognized for providing exceptional public affairs service to our clients. Our professionals put a lot of work into making sure their clients receive results," said Chief Executive Officer Tom O'Neill.
A prestigious Bellringer award in the public affairs campaign category was presented to Jeremy Crockford and Wesley Eberle for their work on behalf of Lennar Partners, the third largest home builder in the country. Merits were also given in the public affairs Campaign category for Brooke Tyson, Ann Murphy and Crockford for their year-long campaign for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
Tyson, Murphy and Crockford also received Bellringer Awards for best brochure and best special publication for the ?Bend the Trend? brochure developed as part of the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care project. Merits in the consumer affairs campaign category were awarded to Laura Pierce, Emily Lalone, and Tyson for their work on behalf of the New England Seafood Producers Association.
Founded in 1948, the Publicity Club of New England is one of the region's oldest associations for public relations. The Bellringer Awards began in 1969 and have become a symbol of excellence for public relations firms throughout New England.
