O'Neill and Associates Continues to Attract Top Talent:
Adds Suzanne Morse to Communications Team

Boston (July 26, 2005) – O'Neill and Associates, a full-service government and public relations firm, today announced that Suzanne N. Morse has joined the firm as associate director. "Suzanne's background in crisis and issues management dovetails perfectly with the demands of our clients," said Chief Executive Officer Thomas P. O'Neill, III. "We're thrilled to have her on board."

Prior to joining O'Neill and Associates, Morse held public relations positions in government and at several non-profits, where she integrated communications and public awareness campaigns with great success. Most recently, Ms. Morse was the communications manager for the Voice of the Faithful, a group formed in response to the crisis in the Catholic Church. While there, she oversaw the development of strategies and campaigns to create greater public awareness of the issues facing the Church, as well as promoting greater responsibility in the Catholic Church. These campaigns were instrumental to the growth of the fledgling organization and to aid parishioners hoping to shape the future of the Church. Suzanne directly oversaw communications efforts related to the organization?s position on the Church?s response to the clergy sexual abuse crisis and the closing of dozens of parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston. Morse became one of the key spokespersons nationally commenting on the papal transition in April 2005, appearing in national and local broadcast and print media outlets.

Morse held previous posts at both the Brookings Institution and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, where she designed and implemented a national media strategy for research findings for these influential organizations. Before that, Morse was an aide to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy, coordinating constituent outreach and the resolution of issues between constituents, community organizations and the federal government. She facilitated grants and appropriations for state-related projects in excess of $5 million.

Morse holds a degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, where she was a Phi Beta Kappa and member of the national communications honor society, and a Masters degree in communication from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She coordinated the State of the Union Project for 2020 Democrats and sits on the Board of Directors of the University of Massachusetts Alumni Association. A native of Harvard, Massachusetts, Morse now lives in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston.

O’Neill and Associates is led by former Lt. Governor Thomas P. O’Neill III. The agency employs senior level professionals to help clients define the right messages and get those messages to target audiences, including government officials, the media, community leaders and consumers. O’Neill and Associates serves clients in diverse industries, including financial services, transportation, health care, education, and real estate.
