O’Neill and Associates Continues Growth: Adds Elizabeth H. Burg to Communications Practice
Boston (September 17, 2007) O’Neill and Associates, a full-service government and public relations firm with offices in Boston and Washington, D.C., today announced that Elizabeth H. Burg has joined the communications practice as an account coordinator. In this capacity, Ms. Burg will support all aspects of public relations client servicing including the development and implementation of messaging and branding, public relations strategies, and media outreach.
“As an alumna of our rigorous internship program, Liz has already demonstrated the judgment, intellect and work ethic required to succeed here at O’Neill and Associates,” said Chief Executive Officer Thomas P. O’Neill, III. “This addition to our team will help O’Neill and Associates continue to provide outstanding public relations services to our clients.”
Prior to joining O’Neill and Associates, Ms. Burg gained professional experience as a media relations intern with the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). While there, Ms. Burg successfully wrote and placed a by-lined article on behalf of the organization in Boys Life magazine and authored the cover story for PVA’s nationally circulated magazine, PN. She also helped gain media coverage for the organization in major outlets such as the LA Times and CNN Live.
Ms. Burg holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University – Bloomington. An active fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, she resides in Boston’s South End.
