Hannah Tyrrell is an account executive in our government relations practice. In this capacity, Ms. Tyrrell provides client support to the government relations and federal relations teams.
Before joining O’Neill and Associates, Ms. Tyrrell interned in marketing and HR for the Norfolk and Dedham Insurance Group where she worked to address employee inquiries requiring communication across company departments and developed new marketing strategies to propose to senior leadership. Previously, Ms. Tyrrell worked as an investigative assistant for the U.S. Department of State in their Diplomatic Security Boston Office. In this capacity, Ms. Tyrrell utilized law enforcement intelligence databases to research data presented to the FBI and assisted with the planning and coordination of foreign visits for dignitaries such as the President of Taiwan.
Ms. Tyrrell graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. She also completed a concentration in peace and conflict studies and a minor in Middle Eastern studies. Ms. Tyrrell was selected to the Washington, D.C. Semester Program where she worked as a research intern for the American Foreign Policy Council and completed a thesis on the combination of Islamism and Democracy in Morocco.
Currently, Ms. Tyrrell spends her time working with Boston Cares in their English as a Second Language Program where she assists recent immigrants with their English speaking capabilities. She annually participates in Working for Worcester’s Build Day, an organization focused on enhancing the school system and public parks in the City of Worcester, and also participates in Self Help Africa’s annual Change Maker’s Ball. Ms. Tyrrell currently resides in Boston.
