Tishman, a New York-based national construction real estate development firm with offices in Boston, wanted to expand business opportunities and establish key relationships within the New England business community. Tishman engaged O’Neill and Associates to assist its business development team in this venture.
O’Neill and Associates developed a relationship marketing plan focused on establishing a strong local presence for the New York-based construction firm. By doing so, Tishman aimed to secure considerable contracts to redevelop Boston Seaport District. Specifically, O’Neill and Associates developed a strategy to position Tishman to be selected for the owner’s rep role for the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in South Boston.
As a direct result of O’Neill and Associates efforts, Tishman was awarded the role of owner’s rep for the Boston Convention Center. Throughout the initial phases of construction, O’Neill and Associates created and implemented a community relations strategy to reach out to influential South Boston community groups, as well as area elected officials.
