WHAT:  ChopChop Family will participate at the Let’s Talk About Food Festival in Harvard Square on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:30am to 4:00pm. During the on-stage demo at 11:45am, ChopChop Family cooking teacher and celebrity chef Gail Arnold will demonstrate how to build flavor using salad dressing and salad ingredients. She will demonstrate how to take both from the simplest to the most complex, all the while using mostly everyday household pantry items.

At the ChopChop Family booth, Gail Arnold will explore the concept of emulsions with visitors. Through interactive demonstrations, visitors will explore the potential for different ingredients to bring oil and vinegar together. These experiments identify so-called emulsifiers, which are ingredients that can mix with oil and water.
