ESC President and CEO Larry LaFreniere appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s New England Advisory Council
Burlington, MA – Electrical Supply Center (ESC) today announced the appointment of President and CEO Larry LaFreniere to the New England Advisory Council.
The NEAC is convened by Boston Fed President and CEO Eric Rosengren and includes senior leaders of small- to mid-sized businesses throughout New England. Members advise the Bank about underlying economic trends as viewed through the prisms of their companies and industries.

Since acquiring ESC in 1998, Larry has transformed the local business into one of New England’s fastest-growing electrical suppliers. As an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, Larry has expanded ESC from a single office to five locations and generated impressive revenue growth. Mr. Freniere holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Worchester Polytechnic Institute. He is active in the Boston community, serving as a Trustee for Wentworth Institute of Technology and extending internship opportunities to current Wentworth students. In 2015, Larry was elected to the Board of Overseers of Boston Children’s Hospital. He also serves on the President’s Council at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
