Test Your Food Knowledge at a Special Trivia Night

October 28, 2019

WHAT:

How many Boston Chefs have appeared on Top Chef? What is the main ingredient in pesto? What’s a “baker’s dozen?” Celebrating the launch of Skillet, its new digital cooking magazine , nonprofit publisher ChopChop Family hosts a free Trivia Night celebrating food and cooking.

College students, young professionals and those who are young-at-heart are invited to test their culinary knowledge at Fenway Johnnie’s on November 6, and compete for prizes. Stump Trivia will coordinate the trivia contest.

A special door prize will be given to the first 50 attendees. The event is free and open to the public. Light appetizers and a cash bar will be provided.

Skillet, a new digital magazine, boils down cooking skills to inspire young adults to cook real food. Skillet demystifies cooking by making it accessible and fun for young people in their late teens and 20 and 30 somethings. The digital magazine has simple, fun recipes that inspire readers to improve their nutrition and overall well-being. It also covers food-adjacent topics such as health and wellness, finance, mindfulness, hosting, physical activity, and sustainability. Skillet is found on Instagram at @skillet_mag and on the website: www.skilletmagazine.org
